Chart of Accounts, Users and Settings
Manage your categories, invite users, see your plan and connect Fynance to your AI assistant.
Manage your Chart of Accounts
The Chart of Accounts is the list of categories your transactions are classified into. Fynance starts you with a default set covering Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income, Expenses and Cost of Goods Sold.
- Click Chart of Accounts in the sidebar. The cards show how many accounts you have of each type.
- Search by code, name or type, or filter with the All Accounts dropdown.
- To add a category, click Add Account, choose the Type (Income, COGS, Expense, Asset, Liability, Equity), enter a Code within the range shown, a Name and optional Notes, then click Save.
- To bring in an existing structure, click Import.
Accounts marked Default are part of the standard setup. New accounts appear right away as categories in Transactions.
Invite users
- Click Users under Settings.
- Click Invite User.
- Enter the person's Name and Email, and choose a Role: admin, bookkeeping (for your bookkeeper or accountant) or billing.
- Click Send Invite. The person gets an email invitation; once they join, their status changes to Accepted.
- The list shows each user's email, Last access and role. Filter by role or search by name or email.
Billing
Manage your Fynance subscription on the Billing page under Settings (app.fynance.co/dashboard/billing). You can change your plan, update your payment details or cancel at any time. See Plans and Billing.
